Proper Skin Care During Pregnancy

Proper Skin Care During Pregnancy will be reviewed today. The skin is heavily stressed during pregnancy – and not only in the areas such as the stomach, bosom and buttocks, there can also be pimples and skin irritations on the face from time to time, especially at first.

Do You Shine or Not

Nature is really mean because some women have a glowing complexion and others get what is known as pregnancy acne. It’s the same with unsightly stretch marks – some get them and others don’t. But so that it is at least not due to the lack of care, here are a few tips on how to properly care for your skin during pregnancy.

No Panic! Maintain Properly

If you’re one of the unfortunate ones who suffers from those pesky pimples – don’t take it too hard. Your body is doing a lot at the moment and the hormones do the rest. After pregnancy, this will happen again over time. In the meantime, there are at least a few things you can do:

Thorough cleaning is the basis for care. The following applies here: mild, soap-free cleansing is good for every skin type. Because of the increased pigmentation you should use a light day product with sun protection (even in winter). Ideally, you should use cosmetics so that no harmful substances are absorbed through the skin.

For Pimples and Acne

At least once, if not several times a week, apply a mask. Thoroughly exfoliate beforehand, for example with a sea sand or salt peeling. You can also make yourself beautiful in the meantime: Simply take an oil bath and let the mask soak in the tub.

Skin Care For The Stomach

Abdominal care will of course have priority over the next few months. A soft massage glove is recommended and then oiling with a good pregnancy oil once or twice a day. Plucking massages should also help against the stretch marks. However, if you have an inherited weakness in connective tissue, you still have to be lucky not to get the small streaks.

Skin Care For The Breast

The breasts also have to withstand a lot – the breast enlarges enormously in the course of pregnancy. You can already notice the growth in the first third and will increase again until you are breastfeeding. It is therefore important here as well: massage daily with a light massage brush and then oil well.

For example, you can plan your daily massage  right in the morning after the shower – simply massage a nice pregnancy oil into the still damp skin immediately after showering – chest, stomach, thighs and buttocks – then put a towel and bathrobe on top and then at rest have breakfast.

So you don’t need to dry yourself off and the oil can be easily absorbed while you – beauty from the inside – mix yourself a healthy good morning shake made from pineapple, strawberries and kiwi.
